YOUTH MINISTRY “GEN-C”

A group of young people from the parish have been attending our youth gatherings since the early part of 2009. The principal objectives of the meetings are to provide a chance for faith sharing and an opportunity for service in keeping with the generous spirit of voluntary service in our parish. It is hoped that as the group grows in number and confidence our presence and energy will be more apparent.

The name GEN-C (Generation for Christ) was chosen by the group and the eagle is a sign of the gospel as well as reflecting the words of the psalm: “The Lord renews your youth like the eagle.” The logo was designed by a member of the group.

Next Meeting:  We have been meeting each Wednesday at 7pm in the Parish Centre since March and are always happy to see new faces!
