![]() On Pentecost Sunday May 11th 2006 after the 10.30 Mass parishioners and friends gathered in the Library for the official opening. Conor Horgan welcomed everyone and talked about why the Library was to be given the Barry name. He explained that the whole idea of a library and all that it could become had been the vision and dream of Fr John Barry O.S.A. resident parish priest for over two decades. Dr. Elaine Barry, sister of Fr. John, Professor of English at Monash University for over thirty years and active member within the parish was called upon to be the guest speaker and declare the Library open. |
Any Student or parishioner who would like to use the library computers for study is welcome to frequent the library during office hours, Monday to Friday.
